This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Engage in engineering projects as a full software developer, delivering high-quality features and services for production.
• Create, review, test, and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable code utilizing PRs, code reviews, and CI/testing processes.
• Offer internal developer support for tooling, libraries, standards, and best practices.
• Assist engineers with setting up local development environments, Unix/Bash workflows, and day-to-day tooling.
• Counsel teams on internal tools and frameworks, clarifying technical trade-offs and suggesting forward paths.
• Recognize repetitive friction points and automate workflows using scripts, templates, and enhanced tooling.
• Integrate AI expertise into the company’s AI coding tools, such as Claude.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and internal platform initiatives using Terraform, particularly in AWS environments.
• Support teams in making identity and security framework choices, including Okta and Auth0.
• Create clarity in ambiguous situations where documentation or standards are not yet established.
• 5–6 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years in data engineering or related roles.
• High proficiency in .NET.
• Willingness to work with languages outside the primary tech stack when needed.
• Strong skills in software design and architecture.
• Capability to structure solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and articulate design decisions.
• Significant emphasis on testing as part of the development workflow.
• Ability to quickly diagnose issues, communicate trade-offs, and propose solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A mindset geared towards coaching and mentoring.
• Positive, collaborative demeanor with a readiness to receive feedback.
• Proactive and self-sufficient approach to enhancing, automating, and simplifying tasks.
• Comfort in alternating between intensive technical work and developer support.
• Exceptional written and verbal English proficiency.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture is a plus but not mandatory.
• Certifications in AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
