Senior Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Kubernetes internals to enhance container orchestration.

• Develop robust, high-performance Go code that powers the vCluster platform.

• Take ownership of feature development from the technical design phase through to release.

• Actively engage with the community and contribute to open-source initiatives.

• Establish scalable tenancy models for isolation and resource sharing that extend beyond namespaces.

• Address intricate engineering challenges that require a profound understanding of systems architecture.

• Construct and maintain infrastructure that supports AI cloud providers and AI factories utilizing GPU resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in Kubernetes internals, encompassing architectural patterns, networking, and storage.

• Proficient programming abilities in Go.

• Capable of converting Kubernetes knowledge into clean and efficient Go code.

• Active involvement in GitHub projects, experiments, or open-source contributions that showcase a passion for development.

• Highly technical and self-motivated; adept at identifying and resolving issues independently.

• Experience in a high-growth environment.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and eager to make a significant impact.

• Bonus: Contributions to the Kubernetes project, such as documentation updates, pull requests, or participation in SIGs.
