Senior Software Engineer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js/NestJS.

• Construct data ingestion and transformation pipelines that integrate third-party equipment and machinery APIs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and create technical plans.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and DevOps processes to guarantee code quality, maintainability, and system reliability.

• Develop and document robust, reusable components and APIs for geospatial and agricultural SaaS solutions.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Remain current with the latest developments in JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, and web development trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience, primarily focusing on Node.js.

• Demonstrated experience in creating RESTful APIs (Node.js/Express, NestJS, or similar).

• Familiarity with integrating relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.).

• Strong grasp of software architecture, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, containerization).

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, capable of working with remote teams and stakeholders across various disciplines.
