Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• You will take charge of designing and developing essential features.

• Our technology stack currently includes TypeScript, Kotlin, and Rust, and you may be required to work across all these languages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in building complex, production-quality applications, with substantial expertise in backend development using Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python, or Rust.

• A solid foundation in computer science coupled with a profound understanding of contemporary software architecture and design principles, demonstrated through effective application in real-world, user-facing products.

• A product-oriented mindset — you look beyond coding, consider the "why" behind features, and actively propose enhancements that improve user experience.

• A strong sense of ownership — you take initiative, guide projects from inception to launch, and excel in environments where autonomy and accountability are paramount.

• Extensive knowledge of AI assistants, a solid understanding of the evolving AI landscape, and the capability to translate trends and functionalities into actionable product enhancements.

• Experience with CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) or a keen interest in developing collaborative, real-time systems is advantageous.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, cross-functional team — communicating effectively, sharing context, and supporting colleagues to achieve common objectives.

• A passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation — you remain curious, adapt swiftly, and consistently seek ways to expand the boundaries of what is achievable.

• Comfort in dynamic, rapidly changing environments — preferably with prior experience in start-ups or early-stage teams where clarity often needs to be created rather than awaited.
