Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for overseeing complete product surfaces from the very beginning. Not just tickets or components, but entire products.

• You will engage with customers, pinpoint issues, design solutions, develop them using AI tools, launch them, and refine them based on your findings.

• Each day, you will have firm beliefs about what makes software user-friendly.

• You prioritize the product from the user's viewpoint, while also possessing a solid understanding of system architecture to create solutions that are robust in production.

• You bring both aesthetic sensibility for products and technical expertise.

• You are already utilizing AI in your work (such as Claude Code, Codex, Conductor, or any tools that suit you).

• You manage agents, evaluate their outputs, and take full accountability for the products that are released.

• Uncertainty does not hinder your progress. When faced with undefined problems and unclear paths, you devise solutions, make informed decisions, and begin development.

• You are part of a team where you are not the sole individual writing code. Both engineers and non-engineers leverage AI tools to collaborate with you.

• You will assess their contributions, provide constructive feedback, simplify technical concepts for clarity, and help enhance the quality of all deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering full-stack production software utilized by actual users.

• Regular use of AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar) as your main workflow rather than a supplementary tool.

• Strong intuition regarding product design and the capacity to evaluate features from the user's perspective.

• Comprehensive knowledge of system architecture, including API design, data modeling, cloud infrastructure, and production trade-offs.

• A history of taking end-to-end ownership: identifying issues, crafting solutions, launching them, and standing behind the outcomes.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous situations where the problem, solution, and way forward are not clearly defined.

• Skill in articulating complex technical concepts in simple terms and reviewing code from contributors with diverse skill levels.

• Effective and straightforward communication in asynchronous and remote environments.

• Preferred: Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, or other contemporary technology stacks.

• Knowledge of agentic workflows, including orchestrating AI agents, agent-driven CI/CD, and MCP integrations.

• Experience in fintech, payroll, HR tech, or blockchain/crypto infrastructure.

• Background in small, high-performance teams where regular shipping is standard.

• Experience in direct engagement with enterprise customers.
