Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and scale backend systems that facilitate spend controls, approval workflows, and card transactions on a large scale.

• Work collaboratively across teams including product, design, and data to create intelligent, user-centric experiences for finance teams.

• Integrate with Ramp’s internal AI platform to automate the enforcement of spending policies and detect anomalies.

• Manage complex projects from beginning to end — covering architecture, deployment, and observability.

• Collaborate with the Product Platform and Integrations teams to guarantee reliability, scalability, and data consistency across financial systems.

• Continuously enhance Ramp’s transaction and policy infrastructure for improved performance, accuracy, and resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience, focusing on backend or full-stack development with a backend emphasis.

• Strong foundation in backend systems and API design, with preferred experience in Python, Go, or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS, and contemporary observability tools.

• Product-oriented mindset: capable of balancing technical excellence with speed and user value.

• A collaborative and thoughtful communicator who excels in environments with high ownership.
