Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design software applications and features utilizing Golang and React.

• Assist in developing a distributed architecture, creating solutions that function effectively within it, while ensuring consistency during scaling.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design products that excel in the market.

• Develop and gather metrics to facilitate the continuous enhancement of existing products.

• Deliver high-quality features that are testable and comply with reporting standards.

• When necessary, lead small development teams to successfully launch a project.

• Mentor fellow engineering team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering.

• Proven track record of introducing new ideas and building consensus on future directions.

• Proficient in creating and serving REST APIs using Go (preferred), Java, Python, or a similar programming language.

• Experience working within a distributed, cloud-based architecture, familiar with design patterns such as transactional outboxes, or queuing systems like RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
