Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to assist us in designing, constructing, and enhancing high-performance backend systems that drive real-time bidding (RTB) and machine learning on an internet-scale.

• You will be engaged in software that manages billions of transactions daily, adhering to strict latency and reliability requirements—all within a distributed, low-latency setting.

• Your role will involve developing and maintaining the machine learning training platform and the bidding infrastructure that assesses ML models in a production setting.

• You will identify performance bottlenecks and optimize essential, low-level components of the system.

• Ensuring the reliability and scalability of implementations, while creating performance and correctness tests for new system elements, will be part of your responsibilities.

• You will also test and benchmark open-source Big Data and ML technologies to evaluate their suitability for the production environment.

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing intricate IT systems.

• Capacity to develop user-friendly and versatile tools.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, Java, or Scala, along with a strong background in Linux.

• Excellent skills in assessing and optimizing system performance, from initial design through to production troubleshooting.

• A profound understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Capability to collaborate effectively both within and across teams.
