Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from the initial technical design phase through to implementation, rollout, and iterative improvements.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that drive enterprise-facing applications.

• Deploy and manage production systems in cloud environments, emphasizing reliability and scalability.

• Provide frontend contributions as necessary to deliver comprehensive, user-facing features.

• Model and organize application data with a clean and structured design approach.

• Collaborate closely with leadership and engineering teams to convert product objectives into practical solutions.

• Assist in shaping the technical direction in a domain that is still evolving.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in backend-oriented full-stack development, delivering production web applications.

• Proficient in Python and experienced with modern backend frameworks.

• Practical experience in deploying and scaling systems within cloud environments, handling actual traffic rather than just experimental deployments.

• Familiarity with frontend development using a modern component-based framework.

• Proven history of taking high ownership within a small team, having built and shipped features from start to finish rather than just managing a narrow aspect.

• Comfortable utilizing AI coding tools as part of daily workflows.

• Preferred: experience with AI/ML infrastructure, developer tooling, agent frameworks, or replayable evaluation environments (e.g., Strandloop).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to accept feedback and act upon it.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Remote position with East Coast hours. Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada.
