Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the design and execution of essential backend services for high-performance, intricate distributed systems.

• Assuming responsibility for crucial technological decisions, ensuring scalability and optimizing performance.

• Advocating and employing contemporary development methodologies such as BDD and TDD would be greatly advantageous.

• Producing clear, modern, and thoroughly tested code.

• Collaborating across teams within a product-oriented environment.

• Performing code reviews and consistently exploring methods to enhance our working processes.

• Developing comprehensive internal documentation for the projects you engage with.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of the complete development lifecycle (design, development, and deployment).

• Familiarity with creating developer frameworks and workflows that facilitate seamless integration for both customers and third parties.

• Experience with Python is preferable (as it's our primary language!), but we have successfully recruited engineers from diverse technical backgrounds, recognizing that adaptability is key.

• Highly driven self-starter who appreciates autonomy and accomplishing tasks.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Knowledge of payment systems, with a focus on enhancing our merchant developer experience.

• Candidates must be located in Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, or South Africa.
