Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

• Creates adaptable and maintainable solutions adhering to established guidelines, requirements, and standard practices.

• Addresses development challenges by leveraging sound design principles and practical experience.

• Reviews, updates, enhances, and sustains existing systems by resolving issues, addressing security vulnerabilities, and optimizing system performance.

• Engages in planning and user story analysis by offering insights and demonstrating comprehension of user needs.

• Aids in resolving business challenges by executing technical solutions grounded in robust design principles and industry best practices.

• Actively engages in and adheres to software development processes and methodologies.

• Records software modifications, best practices, and standards.

• Stays informed about current and upcoming changes in tools, technology, programming best practices, and industry standards through training and development opportunities.

• Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and work experience is required.

• Generally, 5+ years of experience in a professional technical setting.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software design and development is required.

• Fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle, preferably Agile/Lean or Kanban.

• Proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Classic ASP, VB Script, Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, MSMQ, NServiceBus, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Git, or other source control tools is required.

• Experience in cloud development with Azure or AWS is advantageous.
