Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve high-performance APIs and microservices.

• Contribute to the architecture of distributed, event-driven systems.

• Develop and manage AI pipelines along with integrations for language models.

• Uphold code quality, testing, and best engineering practices.

• Engage actively in technical decision-making and conduct code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• More than 5 years of robust experience as a Software Engineer, particularly in backend development.

• Proficient experience with Python (3.11+).

• Expertise in strict typing and asynchronous programming (async/await).

• Familiarity with FastAPI, Uvicorn, and Pydantic v2.

• Knowledge of SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic, AsyncPG, and psycopg2.

• Experience with PostgreSQL 15 (data modeling, indexes, complex queries, and migrations).

• Understanding of Redis (caching, pub/sub, and state management).

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Proficiency in REST APIs.

• Knowledge of domain-driven design.

• Familiarity with resilience strategies (retry, fallback, etc.).
