Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to guarantee consistent and high-quality deployments across multiple environments, fully automating releases for all components of the maxRTE application.

• Design and implement a cost-effective AWS ECS/EKS solution for the migration of critical components within the maxRTE product structure, ensuring auto-scaling capabilities.

• Develop and implement an improved task queuing system to support the deployment of containerized applications.

• Assist in establishing automated testing solutions to achieve 100% codebase coverage, ensuring high-quality standards.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of a migration to a microservices architecture, creating templated and repeatable infrastructure to enhance scalability and developer efficiency.

• Expand the containerized infrastructure to leverage Kubernetes with Argo CD or similar applications for data processing, report generation, APIs, and more.

• Mentor junior developers, promoting a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with the product objectives.

• Demonstrate careful and well-thought-out design capabilities, taking into consideration timelines, available resources, implementation costs, and the potential outcomes of short and long-term solutions.

• Exhibit highly effective prioritization skills by applying knowledge of products, clients, and both internal and external processes to consistently focus on where attention is most needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of software development experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong proficiency in our technology stack: **React.js**, **Node.js**, **C# (.NET)**, **PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server**, and **AWS Cloud Services**.

• Experience in building and developing application infrastructure using AWS EC2, alongside Docker/ECS/EKS for enhanced scalability.

• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining efficient, high-quality, and scalable CI/CD pipelines for deployment across various servers, containers, and environments.

• Familiarity with building and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Strong communication skills and a background in collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

• Preferred qualifications include:

• - Experience with implementing task queuing systems for enterprise applications.

• - Familiarity with managing Kubernetes platforms such as Argo CD.

• - Experience with automation frameworks (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, etc.).

• - Understanding of HIPAA compliance.

• - Knowledge of healthcare-related software development and health insurance revenue cycle processes.
