Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software features end-to-end, taking ownership of intricate functionalities across the entire stack.

• Actively utilize agentic AI tools within the daily development workflow to enhance delivery speed, improve code quality, and explore innovative solutions.

• Engage in architectural and technical design discussions, contributing ideas and assisting in the evaluation of trade-offs alongside the Technical Lead.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Product Designer to comprehend requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and offer technical insights regarding feasibility and estimates.

• Conduct comprehensive code reviews, share knowledge with team members, and mentor junior engineers to elevate the overall engineering quality of the team.

• Participate in customer support matters and escalations, assisting in diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly.

• Continuously enhance engineering practices by identifying bottlenecks, suggesting process improvements, and keeping up-to-date with relevant technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• MUST HAVES Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.

• Strong proficiency in one or more of the team's core technology stack areas (.NET, MSSQL, modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks).

• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity, with the ability to apply them to real-world performance challenges.

• Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming patterns.

• Experience with performance profiling, optimization techniques, and designing systems for high-load scenarios.

• Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases, including advanced query optimization and indexing strategies.

• Proven ability to implement software design patterns, clean code principles, and testing practices in production systems.

• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows (Git).

• Capability to work independently on complex tasks while effectively communicating progress and obstacles.
