Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Engage with unfamiliar code to diagnose issues or introduce new features.

• Contribute to the development of features for larger projects.

• Provide technical leadership for smaller projects and initiatives.

• Suggest technical designs, taking into account standard patterns, trade-offs, and maintainability.

• Participate in support activities, including on-call rotations during off-hours and weekends.

• Deliver comprehensive and constructive code reviews.

• Collaborate with both legacy and new codebases.

• Prototype, create, and troubleshoot new features.

• Implement and sustain DevOps cloud patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing back-end services and APIs within a distributed, service-oriented architecture, as well as creating large-scale front-end applications using contemporary frameworks.

• Full Stack Development: Expertise in at least three programming languages, with a proven ability to swiftly learn new ones as necessary. Proficiency in Python and React is essential.

• Experience in data modeling across various databases and storage types.

• More than 3 years of experience in designing and deploying services in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

• Additional qualifications: Previous experience in healthcare or other regulated industries, especially regarding data privacy and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Experience with ETL pipelines, orchestrators, or workflow engines (e.g., Temporal, Airflow, Dagster).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices (e.g., Terraform).

• Experience using AI-driven coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, code assistants).
