Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain a comprehensive platform aimed at enhancing supply chain transparency and verifying product provenance.

• Utilize cutting-edge technologies including distributed ledger systems, artificial intelligence, and data matching techniques.

• Uphold trust, authenticity, and ethical standards throughout intricate global supply chains.

• Engage in collaboration with producers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.

• Knowledge of Python web frameworks, preferably FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, though experience with other frameworks is also acceptable.

• Proven skills in developing APIs.

• Established capability in unit and integration testing.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Familiarity with best engineering practices, such as version control systems, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, etc.

• Preferred but not mandatory:

• Experience with Rust programming language.

• Background in event-driven architectures.

• Strong knowledge of types and type systems, along with skills in mypy, Rust, or other typed languages.

• Familiarity with Linux and Docker environments.

• Awareness of Kubernetes technology.
