Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Deep backend engineering expertise, particularly in developing production systems using Python and Flask.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining reliable, scalable systems.

• Strong full-stack capabilities, able to contribute effectively across backend, frontend, and related technical areas as needed.

• Practical experience with APIs, SQL databases, cloud services, Docker, and CI/CD practices.

• Solid engineering principles that are applicable across various programming languages, frameworks, and problem-solving areas.

• Good judgment in making architectural decisions, assessing technical quality, and identifying valuable projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, particularly in remote and asynchronous settings.

• High levels of autonomy, responsibility, and commitment to follow-through.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.
