Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions to support Knowmadics products.

• Take ownership of features from the initial requirements phase through to design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Facilitate technical design discussions and contribute to the establishment of architecture and engineering standards.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and hardware/integration teams to deliver capabilities aligned with mission objectives.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.

• Diagnose and resolve complex defects across the entire technology stack.

• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management processes.

• Ensure that software adheres to security, performance, and reliability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., C/C++, C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Proven experience in designing and delivering production-quality software systems from start to finish.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes, and cloud or on-premise deployment strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
