Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of intricate, technically challenging projects on our premier interviewing platform and manage them from start to finish.

• Make impactful architectural choices while enhancing the technical quality across the team's codebase.

• Work closely with engineering leadership to elevate our building standards.

• Integrate AI-assisted development as a fundamental aspect of your workflow.

• Design and develop advanced web applications throughout the entire stack.

• Oversee and execute complex, often ambiguous projects from conception to launch.

• Proactively recognize and resolve technical quality challenges beyond the immediate project scope.

• Guide junior engineers, enhancing the overall capability of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of post-internship professional experience in owning and delivering complex, full-stack web applications and distributed systems from end to end in production environments.

• Extensive proficiency in modern programming languages (Ruby, Python, React, TypeScript/JavaScript) with a solid grasp of web frameworks and design patterns throughout the stack.

• Strong background in system architecture, microservices design, database optimization, and API development (REST and GraphQL).

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps methodologies, and scalable deployment technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring colleagues and spearheading technical initiatives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; a demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• A keen interest in technical interviewing, talent assessment, or the edtech sector is a significant advantage.
