Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to comprehend product requirements and convert them into actionable tasks.

• Create new features, enhance existing functionalities, and optimize current capabilities, from initial conception and design through to testing and deployment.

• Assist the customer service team in resolving escalated issues across various domains.

• Produce clean, high-quality, and maintainable code.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Optimize and fine-tune application performance.

• Collaborate with and potentially oversee globally distributed offshore development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in developing SaaS/PaaS products.

• Ability to comprehend business requirements and offer sound technical designs and solutions using critical thinking skills.

• Proficiency in backend development – .NET Framework / .NET 6/7.

• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core, an open-source web framework for .NET MVC.

• Expertise in ORM frameworks, including Entity Framework and NHibernate.

• Experience with cloud ecosystems, preferably Azure, and knowledge of NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, etc.

• Experience in designing and developing relational databases (SQL Server is preferable).

• Proficiency in building and maintaining distributed applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Knowledge of API design concepts and development of RESTful and SOAP web services.

• Experience in the design and implementation of asynchronous processing, queues, topics, and related technologies.

• Familiarity with distributed applications, service-oriented architecture, caching, and associated concepts.

• Experience with agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Knockout.js.
