Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to comprehend product requirements and convert them into actionable tasks.

• Create new features, improve existing functionalities, and optimize current capabilities, overseeing the process from conception and design to testing and deployment.

• Assist the customer services team by addressing escalated issues across various areas.

• Produce clean, high-quality, and maintainable code.

• Engage in code reviews, both by submitting your own contributions and evaluating the work of peers.

• Identify and independently resolve complex issues within your area of expertise.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (such as code generation, automated testing, and code analysis) to enhance code quality and accelerate delivery speed.

• Participate in team knowledge sharing and uphold engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing SaaS/PaaS products.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: frontend or backend development.

• Ability to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical designs and solutions while applying critical thinking.

• Experience in the design and development of relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure preferred but not mandatory).

• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Practical experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., AI code generation, code review assistance, automated testing, AI-driven analysis) with the capability to assess and incorporate new AI tools to enhance software development processes.

• Competence in designing functionalities that are easy to test and in developing robust tests that cover relevant scenarios.
