Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs utilizing C#, .NET 10, and ASP.NET Core.

• Define API contracts through OpenAPI/Swagger and execute secure internal and external integrations.

• Employ Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, MediatR, and contemporary design patterns.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Create efficient data-access components with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.

• Develop and enhance frontend applications with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.

• Design and manage cloud-native applications leveraging Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault, and API Management.

• Generate automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, deployment automation, and production monitoring.

• Diagnose complex issues across application, database, integration, and cloud environments.

• Engage in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.

• Work collaboratively with Technical Leads, Architects, Product teams, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.

• Assume end-to-end ownership of features, from technical design and implementation to deployment and production support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in building enterprise applications.

• 5+ years of practical backend development experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs.

• 3+ years of frontend development experience, ideally with Angular and TypeScript.

• 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

• Strong comprehension of software architecture, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, and distributed systems.

• Proficiency in Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.

• Experience in designing secure APIs and enterprise integrations using OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Robust understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and API Management.

• Experience in writing automated tests with xUnit, NUnit, Moq, Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.

• Proficiency in Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD workflows.

• Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across backend, frontend, database, and cloud systems.

• Capability to work independently, assess technical trade-offs, and deliver dependable production-ready solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with Technical Leads, Architects, and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to provide code reviews, technical guidance, and mentorship to fellow engineers.

• Preferred: Experience in building event-driven systems with Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and containerized application development.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Module Federation and Micro Frontend architectures.

• Preferred: Experience using monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog.

• Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar solutions.

• Preferred: Experience working in Agile software development teams.

• Preferred: Experience in modernizing legacy enterprise applications or enhancing cloud-native architectures.
