Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and launch AI features for customers from beginning to end, emphasizing measurement, observability, and real-world performance.

• Create and deliver dependable, high-speed systems capable of managing large data volumes and intricate workflows.

• Enhance the quality of AI grounding through permission-compliant retrieval, citations, and evaluations.

• Drive improvements in latency and cost to ensure quick, seamless interactions for users.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams throughout the discovery and iterative processes.

• Assist in defining the capabilities and strategy of AI products.

• Lead ambitious projects from inception to completion with a high degree of autonomy.

• Refine existing features, including the context-aware AI Assistant and Review Agent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering 0-1 products to real users, preferably in the AI sector.

• Strong emphasis on quality, security, and testing processes.

• Solid background in backend engineering.

• Demonstrated data fluency and operational competence.

• Strong foundation in engineering principles.

• Genuine curiosity about emerging technologies and unfamiliar fields.

• Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, understandable solutions.

• An iterative, collaborative mindset for integrating feedback effectively.

• Intuitive understanding of products and the capacity to communicate and collaborate with Product and Design teams.

• Bonus: Familiarity with OpenSearch or other vector databases, Snowflake, evaluation frameworks like Langfuse, or experience in fintech and compliance sectors.

• Technologies utilized and taught include AWS, Azure, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform, CircleCI, Nix, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Python, OpenAI, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and d3.
