Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain hands-on, customer-focused full-stack applications utilizing Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, and contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Act as a proactive software engineer by breaking down complex problems into tasks that can be executed by AI coding agents, followed by reviewing, testing, and validating all outputs generated by the agents.

• Work collaboratively with management, stakeholders, and the team to assess, plan, and deliver projects related to advertising software systems, components, and features.

• Foster a culture of transparency through clear documentation, structured processes, and effective communication, including the prompts, context (AGENTS.md), and MCP configuration that enhance AI agent productivity.

• Write production-ready code for both front-end and back-end that is integrated into a continuous delivery and deployment pipeline on AWS.

• Engage in and enhance team Agile practices—promoting learning, growth, and technical advancement.

• Design and maintain various ingestion and data pipelines for the GroundTruth platform.

• Develop the necessary infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.

• Share ideas to enhance the platform and the team’s utilization of AI-assisted development.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./MCA or equivalent in computer science with over 6 years of experience in software development.

• Proficient hands-on experience with AI coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to design, write, and deploy production code.

• Strong practical experience in full-stack development, including REST APIs, FastAPI, and modern front-end technologies.

• Familiarity with the AWS Stack for data engineering, including EC2, S3, EMR, ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions.

• Hands-on experience with Python/Java for orchestrating data pipelines.

• Skilled in writing analytical queries using SQL.

• Experience with Apache Airflow.

• Proficient in using Docker.

• Strong skills in Git.

• Excellent written communication abilities, capable of articulating clear requirements and context for both humans and AI agents.
