This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
β’ Develop new software efficiently based on specified requirements, adhering to industry best practices for security, maintainability, and performance while following established internal standards.
β’ Take an active role in leading relevant sprint processes (such as planning, grooming, retrospectives, and scrums) and be responsible for the initial high-level sizing.
β’ Exhibit a strong sense of ownership over all work produced by team members.
β’ Guide projects through every phase of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and launch.
β’ Offer technical guidance to team members and foster a productive work environment.
β’ Lead project team members and promptly respond to requests from product teams, designers, and staff.
β’ Enhance the performance and quality of existing software solutions.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to assess software requirements effectively.
β’ Maintain clear and regular communication with management and technical support colleagues.
β’ Facilitate the training and integration of new team members while actively supporting the ongoing development of current team members.
β’ Suggest enhancements to existing software programs as needed.
β’ Establish new software development processes and procedures.
β’ Develop and sustain unit tests for both existing and newly created code to ensure compatibility and stability.
β’ Provide 3rd level emergency support to ensure site operation with minimal downtime.
β’ Identify and implement new software tools, development processes, and procedures.
β’ Proven ability to lead and mentor software developers.
β’ Capability to manage and deliver projects from inception to completion β encompassing planning, development, testing, and successful launch.
β’ Competence in critically reviewing code and providing constructive feedback.
β’ Strong understanding of .NET Core.
β’ High proficiency in C# and T-SQL.
β’ Experience with Single-Page Application Architectures, particularly React.
β’ Ability to design efficient distributed systems.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Capacity to work independently as well as under management guidance.
β’ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including email etiquette.
