Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The Technical Lead is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Gordian Cloud applications.

• This role involves guiding the team in the architectural design of these applications while utilizing internal coding standards and processes to oversee and direct the development efforts.

• Quality control reviews will be implemented throughout all phases of development, maintenance, and product release.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders at every stage of a project, conducting impact analysis, gap analysis, and estimating software development efforts. Provide guidance to the team as they prioritize tasks and document impacts and gaps.

• Facilitate Backlog Refinement meetings, Sprint Planning meetings, and Sprint Review meetings.

• Responsible for developing new applications as well as troubleshooting, integrating, debugging, and upgrading existing systems.

• Research and implement new architectures and technologies.

• Ensure adherence to Object-Oriented programming principles, such as code abstraction, inheritance, overloading, and overriding, to streamline coding and minimize errors.

• Perform security scans of product code to mitigate risks and enhance application security posture.

• Manage deadlines and release schedules effectively.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release coordination, production deployments, and environment management.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and support Agile/Scrum execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer management, or information systems (equivalent foreign education will be considered) along with at least seven (7) years of experience in designing and developing software applications using .NET and Angular technologies.

• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing OAuth, service bus infrastructure, and scalable workflows, as well as implementing service-oriented architecture via REST API.

• Proficient in front-end development tools and technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, Python, and Kendo UI for creating modern and user-focused web applications.

• Advanced skills in software development, including .NET/.NET CORE, C#, Web Services, SQL, MVC, and Entity Framework.

• Extensive experience overseeing development tasks, including the use of Git for version control, Azure DevOps for continuous deployment and release cycles, ReSharper for code reviews and refactoring, and applying Agile Scrum methodologies for daily operations and production support.

• Proven ability to gather requirements, communicate results to business stakeholders, and create software solutions that address various stages of the construction lifecycle.

• Practical experience in managing and enhancing sizable Angular projects within an enterprise setting.

• At least two years of leadership experience as a Scrum Master.
