Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable backend microservices, which include key components of the Chat Platform.

• Develop, deploy, and refine chatbot services and conversational interfaces specifically for remittance services.

• Create and manage infrastructure that can handle millions of daily requests while offering real-time messaging capabilities.

• Construct backend services utilizing industry standards and Google Cloud services.

• Mentor junior developers and promote the adoption of best practices.

• Collaborate with product teams, UX/UI designers, and business units.

• Leverage customer feedback and analytics to enhance conversational experiences and the effectiveness of chatbots.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to build, launch, and improve software applications with a focus on real-world impact.

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Experience with web services, including both SOAP and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event Driven Architecture, A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts.

• Proven experience in developing chatbots, conversational interfaces, or integrating natural language processing (NLP) tools.

• Knowledge of chatbot frameworks such as DialogFlow, IBM Watson, or Rasa is advantageous.

• Passion for creating products that make a positive impact on millions of users.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and the exploration of new technologies.

• Capability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere and actively contribute innovative ideas.

• Excellent skills in prioritization.

• Curiosity and/or experience in Fintech is a beneficial addition.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
