Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance member support services for Aetna Health's web and mobile platforms

• Design, create, and deploy software solutions and systems

• Utilize advanced technical skills to architect and develop software applications

• Perform system testing and debugging tasks

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Contribute to the technical vision and innovation of digital engineering initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering

• More than 3 years of experience with at least one of the following: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, or SQL

• At least 3 years of experience in designing, building, and testing REST APIs and microservices

• Over 2 years of experience in AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience)

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha

• Experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other generative AI technologies

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools, such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins

• Experience with Microservice and Serverless Architectures

• Knowledge of open-source frameworks

• Experience in Agile methodologies
