Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of features from frontend to backend, contributing equally to both areas.

• Assist in the design and development of a new product, influencing architectural decisions and technical direction from the start.

• Create scalable APIs and services utilizing Django and Node.js.

• Develop user-friendly and efficient UIs with React and modern component libraries.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Maintain clean system design, ensuring maintainability and scalability throughout the stack.

• Execute robust testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and API testing.

• Enhance application performance and reliability.

• Engage in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

• Work closely with fellow engineers to guarantee smooth integration between frontend and backend.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of full stack development experience with significant contributions to both frontend and backend systems.

• Strong expertise in React + TypeScript.

• Experience in backend development using Node.js and/or Python/Django.

• Demonstrated capability to build and scale systems from the ground up, with a preference for greenfield experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design, data modeling, and system architecture.

• Proven experience in creating responsive, high-quality user interfaces.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and the ability to write reliable, maintainable tests.

• Background in working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

• Strong command of Git and modern development workflows.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a high level of ownership.
