This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Independently define the scope, plan, and execute well-structured features and components within the Connected Supplier domain.

• Engage in system design conversations centered on performance, maintainability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to decompose work into milestones and modules.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Take ownership of engineering outcomes for domain projects while co-owning broader cross-functional initiatives.

• Identify technical risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.

• Enhance system and team processes by addressing inefficiencies.

• Convert business objectives and customer feedback into technical implementation details.

• Communicate project status, risks, and obstacles across teams and stakeholders.

• Provide support and mentorship to fellow engineers.

• Engage in code reviews, documentation, technical debt management, and participate in on-call rotations.

• Develop Connected+ Supplier integrations and optimize workflows from purchase orders to invoices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a SaaS or product-oriented environment.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, system design, relational databases, and API development.

• Hands-on expertise in React, PHP, Python, or contemporary programming frameworks.

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools like Datadog.

• Proven track record of independently delivering complex features.

• Experience working collaboratively across teams while balancing technical excellence and practical trade-offs.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and promote an inclusive engineering culture.

• Comfort in working independently and asynchronously.

• Experience with or a passion for working with AI.

• Knowledge of the promotional products industry, supply chain processes, or e-commerce integrations is advantageous.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada, excluding Quebec.
