Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Guide junior team members through peer reviews and offer support on story implementation.

• Oversee the management of technical scope changes within stories.

• Prioritize functional software over overly complicated solutions.

• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and issues in production.

• Spearhead design initiatives for new features, ensuring team alignment with strategic and architectural objectives and producing relevant design documentation.

• Aim to deliver high-quality software on schedule by leveraging unit tests and collaborating with QA to fulfill acceptance criteria.

• Engage in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from gathering requirements to testing and final delivery.

• Recognize operational dependencies on other technical teams or support entities.

• Decompose stories into smaller, testable components centered on quick delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in Software Development.

• Familiarity with project tracking tools, such as Jira, and Agile Methodology.

• Prior experience with source control systems and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
