Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Develop features and produce production-ready code.

• Generate technical documentation, system diagrams, and debugging reports.

• Engage in an AI-driven software development life cycle.

• Perform performance optimizations and track essential metrics.

• Contribute to agile planning sessions by offering technical insights and feasibility assessments.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to transform business requirements into features and technical solutions.

• Provide recommendations on technology enhancements, emerging tools, and product deficiencies to guide the roadmap and backlog.

• Assist in defining acceptance criteria for both development and testing phases.

• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain software solutions within an agile framework.

• Create clean, scalable code that adheres to best practices and engineering standards.

• Work alongside peers to implement user stories, address issues, and enhance product functionality.

• Engage in daily scrums and product demonstrations.

• Develop proof-of-concepts and conduct experiments to guide technical decisions.

• Carry out peer code reviews.

• Continuously refine team processes and development workflows.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry standards.

• Track delivery metrics such as lead time and deployment frequency.

• Implement enhancements to boost delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 3 years dedicated to building and delivering applications using React Native.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Spring Boot application development.

• Proficient in analyzing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting mobile applications for highly transactional systems.

• Strong skills in JavaScript, React JS, HTML, CSS, Swift/Kotlin, Objective-C/Java, React Native, and Java.

• Solid understanding of Redux, React, Expo, and Jest.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with AI technologies, including Cursor and Claude.

• Proficient in the Agile software development life cycle and Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with REST APIs, XML, and JSON.

• Proven experience in writing unit test cases.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a positive attitude.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and SAFe frameworks.

• Preferred: Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub CI.

• Preferred: Understanding of secure solution design principles.

• Preferred: Familiarity with concurrent backend environments and multithreading.

• Preferred: Experience with test-driven development frameworks or automated testing tools for mobile applications.

• Preferred: Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Preferred: Familiarity with AI IDEs such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
