Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Evaluate user requirements and develop software specifications.

• Engage in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.

• Create and document technical solutions.

• Build and sustain applications in accordance with Atos protocols and industry standards.

• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and refactoring.

• Assist in release deployments and address post-production issues.

• Contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions.

• Address customer requirements, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions.

• Compose technical documentation and effectively convey complex information.

• Work on large-scale, innovative solutions within Atos’s strategic defense industry project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of demonstrated experience in software development.

• Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving.

• High proficiency in C# and .NET Framework development.

• Experience in RESTful API design and integration (XML, JSON, etc.).

• Significant experience with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript; familiarity with React is a plus.

• Knowledge of ORM frameworks and concepts, including concurrency management, loading strategies, validation, and caching.

• Proficient with source control and configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, ClearCase).

• Understanding of Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Capability to conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Knowledge of front-end architecture and component-based development.

• Experience with defense projects that comply with IEEE 12207 is an advantage.

• Java experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with WPF / Silverlight (XAML) is advantageous.

• Experience with Entity Framework and NHibernate is a plus.

• Knowledge of WCF services implementation is a bonus.

• Familiarity with key-value storage solutions like HBase, Cassandra, and Redis is a plus.

• Experience with messaging queue technologies such as RabbitMQ and MSMQ is beneficial.

• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

• A valid National Security Clearance (MoD, Turkey) is desirable.
