Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a team consisting of both technical and non-technical members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Be open to working on a roadmap that incorporates both business and technical initiatives.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior developers.

• Engage with managers and stakeholders to address any blockers that may affect project timelines.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to Allied’s coding standards.

• Work collaboratively with the team to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.

• Develop automated processes for implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Meet Allied’s expectations regarding productivity, quality, and achievement of goals.

• Collaborate closely with managers to establish technical strategies for the team.

• Comply with and apply all relevant privacy and security regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, HITECH, and any related rules.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in software development utilizing Microsoft’s platform is required.

• At least 3 years in a lead software developer role is required.

• A strong grasp of SOLID principles and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Extensive experience in coding with C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web APIs, and WCF.

• Experience in SQL Server Development, including creating and modifying stored procedures.

• Demonstrated strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Stack.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of API Gateway patterns is preferred.
