Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Accountable for implementing the technical strategy for your team over the course of a year.

• Collaborate across teams throughout the product development lifecycle, including product management, design, and analytics.

• Serve as a catalyst for your team by defining and advocating for technical solutions.

• Guarantee operational efficiency and availability by establishing the appropriate monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting mechanisms.

• Cultivate a culture of quality and accountability within your team by establishing standards for code reviews and design.

• Support talent development on your team by offering constructive feedback and guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying highly available distributed systems utilizing technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes.

• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities in cloud and distributed environments.

• Significant expertise in automating deployments with Kubernetes.

• Experience in delivering critical features, system components, or phasing out existing functionalities through the establishment of a technical and execution plan.

• Capability to write high-quality code that is clear and easily usable by others.

• Ability to thrive in uncertain situations and transition seamlessly from low-level language idioms to the architecture of large systems.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
