Senior Software Engineer – Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Develop and troubleshoot code within a live, real-time voice processing pipeline.

• Create control systems surrounding LLMs, including guardrails, budgets, and watchdog mechanisms.

• Construct and manage LLM evaluation and batch analysis pipelines.

• Oversee traditional ML workflows, from data collection to scheduled production inference.

• Diagnose production issues, tracing them from metric anomalies to root causes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building and managing production backend systems.

• Proficient general-purpose programming skills, with a focus on Python.

• Experience in managing distributed systems in cloud environments; adept at debugging from telemetry to root cause.

• Hands-on experience in production settings with LLMs or generative AI, across any provider or framework.

• Familiarity with the traditional machine learning lifecycle.

• Ability to maintain discipline in a regulated environment.
