Senior Software Engineer, Angular, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain features based on Angular for in-store and POS applications.

• Create functionality related to payment processing, loyalty programs, and associated transaction flows.

• Implement and support integrations with payment systems, card readers, and various in-store hardware devices.

• Collaborate with backend, QA, BA, and product teams to launch new features across interconnected systems.

• Facilitate technical discussions and assist the team in aligning on implementation strategies.

• Manage daily technical tasks and ensure seamless feature delivery.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within frontend and integrated systems.

• Support team members by sharing expertise, guiding implementation choices, and removing obstacles to work.

• Contribute to enhancing code quality, maintainability, and development practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.

• Extensive experience in building frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.

• Strong background in backend development with Node.js.

• Familiarity with payment systems or a solid understanding of payment processing workflows.

• Experience in integrating with hardware devices or managing hardware-related systems.

• Comprehension of integrations between frontend and backend components.

• Proficiency in working with relational databases (SQLite or similar).

• Experience in writing unit tests and adhering to code quality best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Experience in leading engineers and participating in technical discussions within a team is preferred.

• Familiarity with POS or similar in-store systems is a plus.
