Senior Software Engineer, Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the entire organization to strategize, design, develop, and enhance key product features.

• Take ownership of user-centric features from initial conception to final implementation.

• Hold substantial responsibility for our technical architecture and product roadmap.

• Work with a diverse range of programming languages, including Rust, Go, Typescript, and Haskell.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and supporting scalable SaaS products and features.

• Background as a full-stack software engineer with the ability to manage and develop features end-to-end.

• Proficient in relational databases and crafting efficient SQL queries.

• Capability to decompose complex challenges, pursue solutions, and effectively communicate them to the team and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience utilizing AI coding tools within production settings.

• You excel in an environment that favors prototypes over proposals.

• Proactive in sharing insights and well-informed opinions with colleagues.

• Strong attention to detail and quality, enabling the anticipation of edge cases in advance.

• Possess a growth mindset and a readiness to acquire new skills.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a backend engineer.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

• Ability to mentor others and be open to mentorship.

• Experience with observability tools.
