This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Create and develop autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, and interacting with tools, APIs, or external systems.
• Implement agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or build custom orchestration systems.
• Utilize existing industry capabilities to provide virtual assistant features on top of xquic content, including voice interactions.
• Enhance reasoning and retrieval pipelines through the use of embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Design, train, and fine-tune machine learning models.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation for NLP, computer vision, or predictive tasks.
• Construct ML pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring within production environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure integration of AI components into backend systems and APIs.
• Maintain scalable and maintainable codebases with continuous integration and deployment, observability, and cloud-native design principles.
• Participate in technical architecture and design evaluations for AI-driven features and platforms.
• Keep abreast of advancements in LLMs, agent frameworks, and model architectures.
• Prototype and assess methodologies for reasoning, tool usage, and adaptive agent behaviors.
• Share insights and mentor colleagues in best practices for ML and AI development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient programming skills in Python (required).
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or transformer-based models.
• Experience in building or integrating AI agents using LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or custom frameworks.
• Strong understanding of the machine learning model lifecycle, including data processing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of API integrations, microservices, and asynchronous systems.
• In-depth understanding of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or Chroma, as well as retrieval architectures.
• Solid foundations in software engineering, including testing, version control, and system design.
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt optimization, or retrieval-augmented generation systems.
• Familiarity with multi-agent systems and coordination mechanisms.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
• Experience with AI system observability, evaluation metrics, and continuous learning loops.
• Exposure to reinforcement learning or self-improving agent architectures.
• Ability to work during US time zone hours.
