This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, architect, and develop advanced software systems with potential for 100% coding involvement.
• Offer daily technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to influence technology direction, manage patterns, and ensure system consistency.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to align technology delivery with the organization's objectives.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts to sustain system reliability.
• Represent the company in cross-functional settings and with vendor partners.
• Work in partnership with multiple vendors on estimates, delivery schedules, and project timelines.
• Ensure the technological integrity and quality of vendor solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
• Direct delivery and provide technical guidance across a family of applications.
• Strategize on technology optimization and modernization, focusing on reducing technical debt.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes.
• Spearhead knowledge-sharing initiatives and act as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with architects on enterprise-level technology decisions.
• Provide high-level technical expertise for intricate technology projects.
• Establish best practices, reusable components, and technology guidelines.
• Lead incident response and resolution for critical production challenges.
• Engage in special projects and organization-wide initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years in a senior position or a similar principal engineering role.
• Extensive coding experience with .NET Unified Platform V8 and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Experience in implementing workflow orchestration engines within microservice-based software architectures.
• Camunda Cloud experience is preferred.
• Advanced understanding and application of software engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Ability to design and implement innovative solutions that align with complex organizational objectives.
• Capability to communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of the healthcare or PBM industry is preferred.
• Extensive experience working within a vendor partner model.
• Willingness to work outside of standard hours to meet critical project deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing work environments, and meet deadlines.
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Significant Agile development experience.
• Java or React development experience is a plus.
