Senior Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate autonomously and oversee tasks from initiation to completion

• Provide technical guidance across the engineering team by enhancing and steering architecture

• Assist in simplifying the development process

• Collaborate with Product to convert business requirements into innovative, incremental, and effective solutions

• Design and create components and applications prioritizing simplicity, efficiency, maintainability, and code reusability

• Ensure that applications and architectural choices are thoroughly documented

• Maintain application observability in production environments and contribute to resolving incidents

• Evaluate and enhance application scalability, stability, and security

• Assume complete ownership of projects

• Eliminate obstacles through effective collaboration

• Keep abreast of web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, suggesting enhancements to development processes

• Knowledge of system design and coding design patterns

• Proficient in Python

• Experience with scalable API implementation

• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• Understanding of systems observability

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

• Ability to create reusable and modular back-end components that enhance code reuse, maintainability, and scalability

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a startup mindset

• Exceptional communication skills, with an inclusive approach to decision-making

• Experience with cloud-based architectures

• Practical experience with large language models (LLMs)

• Understanding of prompt engineering and quality-control techniques for Generative AI (GenAI)
