Senior Software Engineer – AI-Assisted Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze and comprehend current PHP and Go services.

• Recognize technical debt, architectural constraints, and performance vulnerabilities.

• Design and execute systematic refactors to enhance scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Utilize AI tools to responsibly expedite refactoring and system redesign.

• Construct structured context pipelines to aid AI in understanding systems.

• Create internal workflows for safer refactors, enhanced unit testing, and faster debugging.

• Set up guardrails to ensure that AI-generated code adheres to quality and security standards.

• Design APIs and services using PHP (Symfony) and Go.

• Uphold architectural standards (SOLID, clean architecture).

• Enhance observability and operational stability.

• Guide engineers in AI-assisted coding methodologies.

• Establish practical guidelines for AI usage.

• Propel measurable productivity enhancements without sacrificing quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of robust backend engineering experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in AI agent-assisted software development.

• Extensive hands-on expertise in PHP (Symfony) and/or Go.

• Strong experience in API design (preferably with REST and gRPC exposure).

• Solid familiarity with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.

• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with GCP or AWS deployment.

• Practical experience incorporating LLM tools into engineering workflows.

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and refactoring techniques.
