Senior Software Engineer – Agentic AI Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create Meaningful Experiences: Collaborate closely with a diverse team of designers, product managers, and ML engineers to define and deliver thoughtful, high-quality AI-driven user experiences.

• Connect Frontend & Backend: Collaborate to develop and enhance full-stack features, using React/Next.js for user-friendly frontends and Python or Node.js to ensure robust and reliable backend services.

• Realize AI Innovations: Incorporate LLM APIs and advanced agentic frameworks into seamless product features—designing interactive streaming UIs, clear tool-call outcomes, and informative agent status displays.

• Design User-Friendly Connections: Create and uphold clean REST and/or GraphQL APIs that effortlessly manage user data, facilitate smooth session management, and support effective agent interactions.

• Promote Quality Collaboration: Develop thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to guarantee product quality, and participate in constructive, supportive code reviews that foster team growth.

• Encourage Team Resilience: Engage in a shared, collaborative on-call rotation, working collectively to support production systems, document valuable insights, and maintain the smooth operation of our platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Passion for Full-Stack & AI: Extensive, hands-on experience in building full-stack applications, with a particular emphasis on developing AI-native stacks.

• Strong Technical Foundation: Robust foundational knowledge of TypeScript (React, Next.js) on the frontend, along with Python and SQL on the backend.

• Experience with AI Integration: Proven ability to successfully implement AI in production environments, particularly through LLM API integration or by developing intuitive AI-driven features.

• Insightful System Design: A solid understanding of RESTful API design, database management (such as PostgreSQL or Redis), and cloud ecosystems.

• Real-Time UX Expertise: Familiarity with creating smooth, real-time user experiences using streaming responses (like SSE or WebSockets) to ensure our AI feels dynamic and responsive.

• DevOps Familiarity: Comfort in collaborating on continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), containerization (Docker), and efficient cloud deployments.

• Effective Communication: Highly developed communication skills with a natural ability to listen, exchange ideas, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
