This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Create Android application software from initial concept to final production for millions of drivers and vehicles worldwide.
• Engage actively in the assessment, evaluation, and provision of feedback on product designs and architectures with a focus on software engineering.
• Analyze and suggest new and emerging products and technologies.
• Produce and contribute to high-quality documentation tailored for software engineers.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, product designers, and other technical experts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Over 5 years of practical software engineering experience developing native Android applications using both Kotlin and Java.
• More than 5 years of extensive experience with mobile front-end application architecture, including modular application design, state management, and navigation strategies.
• At least 5 years of a strong software testing ethos and a preference for working in an agile environment.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Go, as well as both Object-Oriented and Functional programming paradigms.
