Android Automotive Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and integrate applications within Android Automotive OS environments

• Implement functionalities such as Bluetooth connectivity, widgets, and infotainment components

• Assist with system integration and technical implementation in embedded automotive platforms

• Conduct debugging and troubleshooting in intricate systems

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (software, electronics, system integration)

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and code quality

• Engage in testing, validation, and system integration stages

• Document procedures, code, and technical outputs

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline

• Over 5 years of experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin)

• Profound understanding of Android SDK and mobile application development

• Experience with Android Automotive OS, AOSP, or Android TV/Tablet (2–3+ years)

• Familiarity with Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab or similar)

• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities

• Nice to have:

• Experience in automotive or embedded systems

• Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols

• Proficiency with C++ in embedded settings

• Background in infotainment or connected systems

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot
