Senior Mobile Developer – iOS, Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the creation of payment solutions for both Android and iOS platforms.

• Maintain and enhance current solutions.

• Engage in effective communication within an agile software development team.

• Develop automated unit tests to ensure code accuracy.

• Conduct testing at all levels, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Design and implement an iOS Tap to Pay solution utilizing Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone APIs.

• Integrate NFC-based contactless payment processes with payment processor SDKs on iOS.

• Adhere to PCI DSS compliance and fulfill Apple’s security standards for Tap to Pay.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of mobile software development, with at least 5 years of programming experience in this domain.

• Proficient Android development skills using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Strong iOS development capabilities using Swift and SwiftUI.

• Practical experience with Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone framework and the ProximityReader API.

• Knowledge of NFC standards, EMV, and contactless payment systems on iOS.

• Familiarity with Apple entitlements and App Store review guidelines for payment applications.

• Experience with Xcode, iOS simulators, and TestFlight for testing payment applications is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including performance and security considerations.

• Experienced in Scrum/Agile software development methodologies.

• Proficient in development tools and debugging methodologies.

• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian tools.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools.

• Experience in the POS/payments sector is a plus, especially in development for PAX payment terminals.

• Familiarity with AWS is beneficial.
