Senior Software Developer, Stablecoin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and design innovative crypto products that empower users with greater control over their digital assets.

• Create and implement integrations with top decentralized exchanges (DEXs), decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and wallet providers.

• Establish stablecoin infrastructure and product experiences that enhance the utility of digital cash for trading, transfers, and on-chain financial activities.

• Improve our current crypto offerings by broadening asset selection and enhancing product features.

• Work with state-of-the-art blockchain technology and contribute to the advancement of decentralized finance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide seamless crypto experiences to over a million users.

• Assist in setting technical standards and best practices for crypto development at Wealthsimple.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the crypto/blockchain sector with practical development skills.

• Extensive knowledge of integrating DEXs, wallet providers, stablecoins, and smart contract protocols.

• Strong comprehension of blockchain principles, including transaction mechanics, gas optimization, and security considerations.

• Familiarity with Ethereum and other prominent blockchain networks, including Layer 2 solutions.

• Practical knowledge of smart contract development and interaction (EVM/SVM).

• Understanding of DeFi protocols, automated market makers (AMMs), and decentralized exchange mechanisms.

• Awareness of best practices in crypto security, including key management and multi-signature implementations.

• Experience with Web3 libraries and tools (ethers.js, web3.js, etc.).

• Strong background in full stack development using languages and frameworks such as React, React Native, Ruby on Rails, Java, Kotlin, or Python.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate the fast-evolving crypto landscape.

• Enthusiasm for decentralized finance and its potential to democratize access to financial services.
