Senior Software Developer, IntelliJ AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Integrate cutting-edge AI agents into our IDEs, consistently enhancing the developer experience associated with them.

• Improve agent functionalities by providing them with the most advanced tools available in our IDEs.

• Develop innovative AI features that have no direct counterparts in the market, experimenting with and exploring the new opportunities presented by contemporary AI technologies.

• Assess and analyze the performance of agents and other AI functionalities to ensure reliability and reproducibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or similar programming languages.

• Comfortable with the design and development of complex software systems.

• Self-motivated and capable of taking full ownership of challenging features from start to finish.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in building AI-driven features, particularly with LLM-based systems.

• Background in developing IDEs, code editors, or intricate desktop applications.

• Familiarity with performance-sensitive or correctness-critical systems.

• Knowledge of concurrent programming and performance optimization techniques.
