Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise throughout the project development lifecycle.

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, ensuring aspects such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability are met.

• Develop and uphold standards, guidelines, and best practices for software development.

• Identify potential risks and propose technical solutions to mitigate them effectively.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices in software development.

• Explore and assess new technologies, tools, and frameworks pertinent to software development on Azure.

• Serve as a hands-on technical resource and mentor for junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a senior software engineer or developer, with a proven history of delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

• Practical experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and API Management.

• Solid background in Java and Spring Boot/Cloud for developing containerized microservices.

• Experience in designing and implementing event-driven architectures and messaging systems.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols, with a focus on TCP/IP considered advantageous.

• Hands-on experience in a DevOps-oriented development setting, utilizing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of design patterns, service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and cloud best practices.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team, lead by example, and mentor fellow developers.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to various stakeholders in both Portuguese and English.
