Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Create solutions that align with customer needs.

• Develop new features, maintain legacy systems, and implement clean solutions in genuine customer projects — steering clear of disposable code.

• Gain a deep understanding of requirements. You assess what the customer requires — including unspoken needs — and craft customized solutions.

• Lead projects from inception to completion independently. You possess the initiative to see a project through on your own — while also enjoying collaboration with team members.

• Share your expertise. Through reviews, pair programming, and brief coaching sessions — as a team is only as strong as the knowledge its members share.

• Stay forward-thinking. You keep abreast of technological advancements — including the impact of AI on work and business models — and contribute innovative ideas to the team that generate real value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of programming experience.

• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, Dart, Java, or similar languages — preferably across various projects and technology stacks.

• Clean code practices and unit testing are second nature to you, not just an afterthought.

• A self-sufficient working approach. This is paramount to us: you do not wait for directions, you identify what needs to be done and take action.

• Open and transparent communication. You are direct, honest, and empathetic. You communicate what is essential and listen actively before responding — with both colleagues and clients.

• An understanding of the value behind the code. You consider how a solution will be perceived and appreciated by the customer. While you don't need to be a sales expert, you recognize that excellent software should also provide user satisfaction.

• A desire to learn. We utilize a diverse tech stack. You don’t need to know everything — but you must have the willingness to learn.

• Proficient in German. This is essential due to close collaboration with our clients.
